🍂 spooky graphic novel, hand-painted...
A new graphic novel, now available on preorder! (+ general updates)
Occasional project updates are great (especially when I get to writing them). It’s been… some time (3 years… I guess…) since I began this graphic novel, drawn & hand-painted on black paper. Taking photos of every page (140) and then color-correcting them, and then formatting the book, took even more time… but now it’s finally DONE and at the printer! (It’s also available on pre-order on ko-fi)
Yes, this is the unabridged adaptation of H. P. Lovecraft’s short story, The Colour Out of Space—now a graphic novel! The release date should be sometime mid-November—I will update with further details soon.

What else have I been doing this year?
• I made a cozy youtube channel for small animations…
• I put out the first volume of my comic strip as a print book
• & drew a small children’s book called The Girl Who Cried Wolf
What have you been up to?
Congratulations on finishing the new graphic novel! That is a ton of work. I bought the Kindle version and have just started it. I like the blue and green illustration of the sea and sky you created on, I think it's Page 3? It says, "Location 7 of 139." You've created so much atmosphere and texture. That is cool about your animation channel and Girl Who Cried Wolf book too. :)
Since you asked what we've been up to, I've been enjoying playing with found poetry and laying out the words on little painted backgrounds I made (super-duper beginner art). One of them was featured on Every Day Poems yesterday and another one a couple weeks ago. :) They're called, "The Writing Process, a Carnival," and "The Sun".
